Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations through virtual consultations, ensuring accurate assessment of clients' needs and condition.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans considering each client’s unique circumstances and goals, including conducting initial assessments and ongoing evaluations.

• Lead engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic strategies to promote healing and growth.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and medical professionals, to create comprehensive care plans.

• Manage referrals for additional services, ensuring clients receive holistic support throughout their treatment process.
\n
• Assist clients' family members in understanding mental health challenges, providing guidance on how to support their loved ones effectively.

• Stay informed on the latest developments in the mental health field to continuously enhance the quality of care provided to our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and present with various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and addiction issues. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in addressing their psychological needs and aiding in their recovery journey, utilizing telehealth techniques to foster an effective therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong understanding of mental health diagnoses and treatment approaches.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, to streamline documentation and enhance access to client data.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience providing mental health counseling in diverse settings, preferably with telehealth experience.
\n
• Experience in managing clients with dual diagnoses, including underlying physical health conditions and addiction disorders.
\n
• Knowledge of best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Excellent interpersonal skills, facilitating client engagement and rapport-building.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
