Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and comprehensive assessments to accurately identify the mental health needs of clients. Develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique psychological and emotional requirements of each client, incorporating evidence-based practices. Provide psychotherapy and behavioral therapy sessions via video or telehealth platforms, ensuring an empathetic and safe environment for clients to explore their experiences. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates, in line with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to formulate effective treatment strategies and discharge plans, ensuring continuity of care. Assist clients in discharge planning and care coordination by liaising with various service providers, ensuring they have easy access to the necessary resources and support. Patient Population / Client Focus The clientele at Vertex Behavioral Healthcare encompasses a wide array of individuals, including adults, adolescents, and families dealing with mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and relational difficulties. Qualifications Possession of active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or equivalent. A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required. Minimum of three years of experience in an outpatient setting, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic methodologies and client engagement. Exceptional computer skills, particularly in managing electronic medical records (EMR), word processing, email communication, and project management tools. A strong ability to work independently, demonstrating self-direction and organizational skills that ensure timely and effective client care. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, experience in working with diverse populations, familiarity with teletherapy platforms, and training in specific therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or family systems therapy will be considered advantageous.
