Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients during initial consultations to establish their mental health status and history.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse range of clients facing mental health issues, including but not limited to substance abuse disorders, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid license as either an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW within the state of Massachusetts.

• Minimum of four years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• Demonstrable experience in delivering culturally responsive therapy sessions both individually and in groups.

• Strong crisis management skills and the ability to maintain composure during challenging situations.

• Proficient in using electronic health record systems and basic computer applications relevant to practice management.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of four years of experience is mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with clinical experience in a community health setting. Compensation and Benefits\n
