Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments of students to identify emotional, social, and financial needs that may affect their academic performance and personal well-being.

• Provide individual and group counseling focused on issues such as adjustment to school, grief, anxiety, and coping strategies, fostering resilience among students.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with educators and parents, ensuring that identified goals align with the student’s overall educational experience.

• Establish a network with community organizations to facilitate access to resources and post-discharge services, ensuring students have continuity of care.

• Offer educational workshops and resources for parents to enhance their understanding of mental health and available support mechanisms.

• Participate in regular interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights on student progress and contribute to program development.

• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with all legal and organizational standards to facilitate effective follow-up and ensure best practices in therapy.

• Provide crisis intervention and urgent counseling as needed, ensuring that students and their families receive immediate support during critical times.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clientele for this position will be students from diverse backgrounds, with a focus on the Latinx community. You will engage with individuals facing a variety of challenges including, but not limited to, behavioral issues, academic stress, family dynamics, and mental health disorders. Your role as an LCSW is vital in providing culturally sensitive services, which are crucial for fostering trust and openness within the school community.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
