Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including their severity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaborate with clients to co-create personalized treatment plans, considering their unique needs, aspirations, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver effective interventions for mood disorders.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to empower them on their recovery journey.

• Monitor client progress through regular follow-ups and adjust treatment plans based on therapeutic outcomes and feedback.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to client care.

• Stay informed on the latest developments in mood disorder treatment to continually enhance therapeutic approaches and contribute to client outcomes.

• Maintain detailed and confidential records of client sessions, assessments, and treatment strategies in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as either an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the state where you practice (Washington).

• Effective communication skills with the ability to connect with clients from a variety of backgrounds.

• A strong commitment to ethical guidelines in mental health practice and maintaining confidentiality.
