Remote Contract (6 months) Published 4 days ago Job Title: Sales Development Representative (Contractor) – Indirect Tax Location: Remote (U.S.) Overview Thomson Reuters is hiring contract Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to drive outbound pipeline generation for ONESOURCE Indirect Tax AI solutions (Sales & Use Tax and VAT Compliance). This role is focused on high-volume outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and appointment setting to support Account Executives. The SDR will engage target accounts, generate new opportunities, and help build pipeline toward 2026 growth targets. Key Responsibilities Execute high-volume outbound calling to prospects and customers. Run multi-channel outreach (phone, email, video, LinkedIn). Identify and qualify new leads within assigned territory/segment. Schedule qualified discovery meetings for Account Executives. Prospect into new accounts and existing customer base. Campaign Execution Build and manage email and outreach cadences. Execute targeted campaigns aligned to marketing programs. Track and optimize outreach performance across channels. Provide feedback on messaging, objections, and engagement. Lead Qualification & CRM Management Capture and maintain accurate lead data in Salesforce. Score and progress leads using defined qualification criteria. Maintain fast response times on inbound and outbound leads. Follow structured workflows to move leads to scheduled meetings. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Marketing on demand generation effectiveness. Provide feedback on value propositions and persona targeting. Pilot and adopt new sales enablement tools. Success Metrics Volume of pipeline generated. Number of qualified meetings booked. Total pipeline value created. Revenue influenced from sourced opportunities. Lead response time and conversion rates. Required Qualifications 1+ year of B2B or B2C sales or customer-facing experience. Experience with outbound prospecting and lead generation. Strong communication skills (phone, email, video). Ability to engage and influence decision-makers. Proficient with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and sales automation platforms. Strong organizational and time management skills. High energy, goal-oriented, and results-driven. Preferred Qualifications Prior SDR or inside sales experience.
