This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your home. Additionally, while your primary workdays will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, we recognize the necessity of accommodating patient needs, so some scheduling flexibility may be required.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments, evaluating patients’ histories and treatment needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and resilience, ensuring each patient's uniqueness is accounted for.

• Utilize evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate patient healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, employing strategies that help patients process trauma and develop essential coping skills.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and the resources available to them.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, complying with all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance your knowledge and skills in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a licensed therapist at Stem Psychological Center, you will primarily work with individuals affected by trauma. Our patient population includes adults dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and associated disorders. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly valued.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $104,000, based on experience and qualifications.
