This specialized position focuses on providing comprehensive mental health support within a school setting, where you will play a crucial role in promoting the social and emotional well-being of students. This role is remote, offering flexible scheduling options between 8 am to 7 pm, Monday through Friday, and is eligible for a sign-on bonus.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, groups, couples, and families facing a range of challenges.

• Conduct thorough interviews with clients to collect and interpret vital social, personal, environmental, and health-related information.
\n
• Assess, evaluate, and treat problems within your scope of practice, adapting approaches to meet each client's unique needs.
\n
• Develop and coordinate programs and activities aimed at addressing clients' social and emotional challenges.
\n
• Facilitate cognitive, affective, and behavioral health interventions, including short-term crisis resolution and referrals to community resources.
\n
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients based on mutual respect, acceptance, and trust.
\n
• Evaluate the effectiveness of provided treatment services on an ongoing basis and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
\n
• Document client interactions meticulously according to established protocols, ensuring that caseload and case documentation remain up-to-date.

• Provide individual clinical counseling as needed, applying clinical skills to various teaching and therapeutic environments.

• Perform related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall mission of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work primarily with school-aged children and adolescents, providing vital support to address behavioral and mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and familial challenges. You will support a diverse student body, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to thrive academically and emotionally.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in New York.
\n
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical social work or a related mental health field is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior counseling experience dealing with behavioral mental health issues, including mood disorders, addiction, grief, and family counseling.

• Familiarity with school-based mental health services is a plus, as is experience in crisis intervention and resource referral.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 – 104,000 annually.
