This role is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while still effectively engaging with clients through virtual consultations. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments through preliminary interviews and thorough documentation of client progress from the first consultation through the treatment process.

• Evaluate mental, behavioral, and emotional health, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical observations.
\n
• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans that cater to individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring treatment reflects best practices in mental health interventions.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that promote therapeutic self-exploration and personal insights.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate client progress on treatment goals, adjusting plans as needed to support optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical professionals, and social workers to create comprehensive intervention plans that align with clients' health care needs.

• Follow up with hospital staff regarding clients admitted to inpatient care, ensuring a continuum of care is maintained during transitions.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery and develop strategies to mitigate these challenges through education and support.

• Guide families and primary caregivers with strategies to support their loved ones facing mental health issues.

The clientele at Mindsight Behavioral Health Center consists primarily of individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma and adjustment disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related mental health field is minimum; candidates with a Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology are preferred.

• Must possess a current and valid mental health counselor licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) compliant with Arizona state regulations.

• Successful completion of standardized exams (e.g., NCE, NCMHCE) with passing scores.
\n
• Previous experience as a mental health counselor, with demonstrable outcomes.

• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly with AVATAR.

• Comprehensive understanding of co-occurring disorders including emotional, physical, and addiction challenges.

• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and evidence-based guidelines.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on creating therapeutic rapport.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine empathetic nature are essential for success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
