Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will engage in a variety of therapeutic activities aimed at supporting individuals in managing their mental health. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing clinical mental health services, including assessing client needs, developing, and implementing personalized, recovery-focused treatment plans.

• Conducting regular assessments to monitor progress and adapt treatment as necessary, ensuring that clients receive the highest standard of care.

• Working collaboratively with clients to cultivate coping strategies, communication skills, and problem-solving techniques.

• Educating clients about available community resources and serving as a compass for connecting them to essential services and supports.

• Maintaining comprehensive documentation to track each client’s progress while ensuring confidentiality and adhering to all ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will center on a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges. This includes managing conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health disorders. Your empathetic approach will help clients navigate their personal journeys towards mental wellness, supporting their recovery efforts and promoting community integration.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• A current licensure in the state of New Jersey, including but not limited to:

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
\n
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
\n
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
\n
• Licensed Psychologist (PsyD)
\n
\n
• The ability to work independently and without supervision, demonstrating a thorough understanding of mental health practices.

• No disciplinary actions on your license, reflecting a commitment to professional ethics.
\n
• Proficiency in using digital tools for documentation and virtual sessions, along with a reliable high-speed internet connection.

Preferred Experience\n

While experience in the mental health field is essential, the following expertise is an added advantage:
