This position is primarily remote, offering the flexibility to conduct sessions from the comfort of your own home, while also working closely with our outpatient office team in Augusta. Regular team meetings and training sessions foster a supportive atmosphere and facilitate ongoing professional development and learning.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and document findings thoroughly from the initial consultation to discharge.
\n
• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on clinical assessments.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methods to foster client engagement and progress.
\n
• Monitor and assess the efficacy of treatment plans, making adjustments as necessary to optimize client outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical personnel, to ensure cohesive care is provided.
\n
• Manage referrals to specialists when additional support is required, maintaining a comprehensive service plan for each client.
\n
• Conduct follow-ups with clients’ family members or primary caregivers to ensure continued support and management of mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse array of clients, spanning various age groups and backgrounds, each facing unique challenges that impact their mental health and overall well-being. Your role will encompass the treatment of conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and addiction issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in the state of Georgia.

• A strong understanding of psychotherapeutic techniques and a commitment to ongoing professional development in mental health practices.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with other professionals.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding in all interactions with clients and staff.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in a counseling role, particularly within an outpatient setting, is highly advantageous.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR or similar platforms, is preferred.

• Knowledge of underlying physical and emotional health conditions, as well as an understanding of addiction disorders.

• Acquainted with the best practices and ethical guidelines set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
