Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify each patient's unique needs.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic practices.

• Provide therapeutic interventions using methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other effective modalities.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups aimed at building community and understanding around mental health issues.

• Collaborate with fellow healthcare providers to coordinate treatment efforts and ensure holistic care.

• Deliver crisis intervention services during instances of acute distress or mental health emergencies.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and legal documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population, including adults and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in New York State is required.

• A strong foundation in mental health assessment and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to build rapport with patients.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health counseling, preferably in an outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
