Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to understand their needs and recovery goals, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews.

• Deliver one-on-one counseling sessions employing techniques such as Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to facilitate progress in recovery.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, medical staff, and other therapists to ensure a holistic treatment plan, allowing for comprehensive patient care.

• Educate patients and their families about substance use disorders, recovery processes, and available community resources to empower them in their journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to support adults grappling with substance use disorders, along with their families. The patients at Bright Rehab and Counseling Center typically face challenges not only with addiction but also with co-occurring mental health issues. Your role will involve addressing the complexities of each individual's situation, fostering hope and resilience while guiding them toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or PsyD in Washington state.

• In-depth understanding of substance use disorders and solid knowledge of evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, essential for effectively engaging with patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
