Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate the needs, strengths, and goals of individuals seeking help for substance use disorders, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviewing techniques.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations, integrating evidence-based interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions, fostering a safe space for clients to explore their motivations, challenges, and recovery goals.

• Lead dynamic group therapy sessions, creating an environment that encourages peer support and shared experiences among individuals in recovery.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic and integrated care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute substance-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and appropriate care.

• Educate clients and families concerning addiction dynamics, recovery frameworks, and available community resources that can aid in recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will predominantly include individuals experiencing substance use disorders, ranging from those in early stages of recovery to those requiring long-term support. You will work with diverse populations, addressing common co-occurring mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma that often accompany substance dependency. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between addiction recovery and overall mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A relevant Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PSYD in Washington State.

Compensation and Benefits\n
