Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify client needs, strengths, and treatment goals, while ensuring records are maintained accurately and confidentially.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans under clinical supervision, adjusting strategies based on client progress and feedback.

• Lead and facilitate group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive environment where clients can share experiences and learn from each other.

• Participate in regular staff meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to stay informed of best practices and compliance requirements, including JCAHO and Medicaid standards.

• Establish and maintain productive relationships with community resources, facilitating referrals and support systems for clients as needed.

• Document daily progress notes, treatment plans, and follow-up actions comprehensively and timely, ensuring compliance with organizational protocols.

• Engage in collaborative communication with multidisciplinary teams within the agency, ensuring holistic care for each client.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily support clients facing perinatal mental health issues, which may include conditions such as postpartum depression and anxiety. Your expertise will contribute to a compassionate treatment approach that addresses the unique challenges of this population, promoting their emotional and psychological well-being during and after pregnancy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• A valid social work license in accordance with state regulations (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) is mandatory.

• Authorized to work in the United States.
