Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through preliminary interviews, establishing clear and objective documentation from the first consultation to treatment completion.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of clients, ensuring appropriate interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions that are both engaging and effective, implementing evidence-based techniques and approaches tailored to client needs.
\n
• Monitor and document client progress on an ongoing basis, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to best support recovery and wellness.
\n
• Work collaboratively with other professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to coordinate care and enhance client outcomes.
\n
• Assist clients in navigating referrals and accessing additional support services, empowering them on their journey to mental health recovery.
\n
• Provide support and guidance to family members and primary caregivers, equipping them with strategies to manage challenging behaviors and contribute positively to the client’s support system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse array of clients who may be facing mental health challenges, underlying physical or emotional health conditions, or addiction disorders. Your expertise will help empower clients to develop tools for managing their mental health, with a focus on fostering resilience and promoting long-term well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts is essential.
\n
• Successful completion of the NCE and/or NCMHCE examinations.
\n
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and interprofessional teams.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of previous experience as a mental health counselor with a proven track record of success.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to ensure seamless documentation and client management.

• An understanding of the best practices set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Experience working with clients who have co-occurring disorders, including those related to substance abuse.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience, alongside a sign-on bonus.
