This position is fully remote, allowing you to engage with clients from the comfort of your own home while contributing to our community health clinic's mission. Our hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, providing flexibility in your scheduling. We offer in-house credentialing and management of your insurance participation and appointments, enabling you to focus on what truly matters — delivering exceptional care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a critical role in the therapeutic process. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, adolescents, families, and groups to identify their emotional and psychological needs.

• Developing individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and incorporating evidence-based interventions.
\n
• Providing clinical support through various modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to facilitate healing and progress for your clients.

• Maintaining clear and effective communication with colleagues, participating in patient rounds and case review meetings to discuss treatment progress and interdisciplinary care plans.

• Completing required documentation and reports promptly and accurately to ensure compliance with standards and best practices in the field.

• Carrying out case management tasks which involve collaborating with other healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure collaborative care for your clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse client population in an outpatient setting. This role encompasses working with individuals from various backgrounds, each facing unique challenges and circumstances. You will have the opportunity to engage with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more, allowing you to apply your clinical expertise and make a substantial impact on their lives.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Possess a valid license as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a counseling setting.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to supporting the mental well-being of diverse populations.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, candidates who have experience in outpatient therapy settings, familiarity with managing client insurance and scheduling independently, or proficiency in therapeutic methodologies such as CBT will be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits\n
