This role focuses on delivering exceptional telehealth services to patients experiencing various mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. Work Environment\n

This position offers a flexible remote work setting, utilizing telehealth technology to connect with clients. The therapist will work Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend hours on a rotational basis to accommodate our clients' needs. Our digital communication tools enable seamless interactions with both patients and colleagues, ensuring high-quality support and information sharing.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and characteristics of clients' mood disorder symptoms, ensuring an accurate diagnosis and understanding of their condition.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on their unique goals, preferences, and needs, while employing evidence-based practices.

• Implement therapeutic interventions using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to enhance the effectiveness of treatment.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, self-care strategies, and available treatment options.

• Monitor treatment progress, adjusting plans as needed based on client feedback and clinical assessments to optimize outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, comprehensive care for clients.

• Stay informed on the latest developments in mood disorder treatment and research to continuously improve therapeutic strategies.

• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately and confidentially, complying with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to foster growth and enhance clinical skills.

• Advocate for clients, working to reduce stigma surrounding mood disorders and promote mental health awareness in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specializing in the treatment of mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
