Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and current psychological states.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique recovery journey, with an emphasis on resilience-building techniques.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist clients in processing traumatic experiences.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to help clients develop effective coping strategies and support each other in their healing journeys.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to client care, addressing both psychological and medical needs.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients facing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring they receive timely support.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms while promoting available resources for continued support.

• Maintain secure and accurate documentation of therapy sessions and client progress, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and professional development activities, remaining informed about the latest research in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n
