As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at La Trinidad Counseling Center, you will work primarily in an outpatient setting with the flexibility of remote work. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health by utilizing standardized tools and structured interviews to identify needs and formulate appropriate clinical diagnoses.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that use evidence-based therapeutic interventions suited to each client's specific circumstances.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques—to address a wide range of mental health concerns.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for clients experiencing acute mental health crises, ensuring safety and wellbeing while guiding them through challenging situations.

• Maintain comprehensive electronic client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals, to ensure integrated care and continuity of support for clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available resources in the community, advocating for their rights and needs throughout the therapeutic process.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, such as training sessions and workshops, to remain informed about the latest advances in mental health therapy and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with diverse client populations, including adolescents, adults, couples, and families who may be facing a variety of mental health issues—ranging from anxiety and depression to interpersonal conflicts and trauma. Your contributions will play a critical role in improving their quality of life, helping them navigate through challenges, and facilitating their journey towards recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic abilities, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Our compensation package includes a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
