This is an excellent opportunity for someone with legal billing experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You'll partner closely with attorneys, legal assistants, and paralegals to manage billing, e-billing, collections, and accounts receivable.

Hybrid Schedule: Four days onsite during the initial training period, transitioning to three days onsite after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, edit, and process attorney invoices accurately and on time.
• Manage billing for assigned attorneys and work closely with legal assistants and paralegals.
• Process high-volume billing, including electronic and traditional invoices.
• Submit e-bills through client portals and ensure compliance with client billing guidelines.
• Maintain billing records using 3E (Elite) or similar legal billing software.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Contact clients regarding billing questions, payment status, and past-due invoices.
• Investigate payment discrepancies, short pays, and chargebacks.
• Document collection activities and assist with reporting and audits.
• Perform other accounting and billing-related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of legal billing, e-billing, accounts receivable, or collections experience.
• Prior law firm experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with 3E (Elite) or other legal billing software.
• Knowledge of LEDES billing and e-billing platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
