Work Environment

This position is onsite at our state-of-the-art facility located in a vibrant section of Buffalo, NY. Your work will entail a structured schedule, with core hours from Monday to Friday, along with occasional late shifts and Saturday availability based on patient demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments by taking detailed medical histories and performing thorough skin examinations.
• Diagnose and manage various dermatological disorders, customizing treatment plans that address both medical and cosmetic needs.
• Perform cosmetic procedures, including but not limited to Botox, dermal fillers, and other non-invasive treatments, with attention to patient safety and comfort.
• Assist in skin cancer screenings, managing care from initial assessment through to post-operative follow-up.
• Provide tailored skincare advice and education to patients, empowering them to take charge of their skin health.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

You will engage with a diverse patient demographic, ranging from young individuals dealing with acne and dermatological conditions to adults seeking cosmetic improvements to enhance their self-esteem. Qualifications

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree, preferably with a concentration in dermatology or related nursing programs.
• Active Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP) credential from the Dermatology Nursing Certification Board (DNCB).
• Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills specific to dermatological conditions.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a dermatology practice or healthcare environment.
• Proficiency in performing aesthetic procedures, including injectables such as Botox and dermal fillers, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
