Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations, including detailed assessments of patient history and presenting symptoms.
• Evaluate diagnostic test results, such as lab tests and imaging studies, to make informed clinical decisions.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of health conditions, focusing on preventive and family medicine.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address both chronic and acute health issues, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Prescribe medications and monitor their efficacy while maintaining detailed records of patient interactions.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding medical conditions, treatment approaches, and preventive strategies to ensure a clear understanding of their health.

Qualifications

• Must possess a master's degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant, ensuring compliance with New York state regulations.
• Proven clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, particularly in a family medicine setting.
• Strong knowledge of current health regulations and best practices in patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of hands-on experience in a family health clinic or similar clinical environment.

• DEA registration is essential for prescribing medication.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 180,000 annually , reflective of experience and qualifications.
