Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients suffering from various pain conditions, which includes gathering comprehensive medical histories, performing physical examinations, and interpreting diagnostic tests to formulate precise clinical decisions.
• Collaborate closely with the supervising physician to design and implement personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient, ensuring an individualized approach to care.
• Execute specialized pain management procedures such as joint injections, trigger point injections, and nerve blocks under physician supervision, utilizing your technical skill and training to improve patient outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to enhance effectiveness and optimize health outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about pain management strategies, medication uses, and lifestyle changes to empower them in their own care.
• Work together with a diverse team that includes physical therapists, psychologists, and other specialists to provide a comprehensive and holistic treatment experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physician Assistant in our Pain Management team, you will primarily focus on adult patients experiencing acute and chronic pain conditions. You will be instrumental in assessing their individual pain-related issues and contributing to their overall treatment plan, focusing on improving their functionality and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field is required.
• Current state licensure and board certification as a Physician Assistant.

Compensation and Benefits
