In this full-time onsite role, you will play a critical part in delivering high-quality care to patients dealing with chronic pain issues. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients with pain-related complaints, utilizing advanced diagnostic skills to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic procedures under the supervision of physicians, which may include injections, medication management, and physical rehabilitation strategies.
• Collaborate with case management teams to coordinate seamless discharge planning, ensuring that effective pain management strategies are in place post-discharge.
• Engage in ongoing patient education about pain management techniques, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications, fostering patient empowerment.
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately to meet insurance requirements, and manage appeals for any denials efficiently.
• Participate actively in inpatient and outpatient consultations, contributing to the interdisciplinary team discussions to optimize patient care and address any immediate medical needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population consists of individuals from diverse backgrounds, many of whom suffer from chronic pain conditions that significantly impact their daily lives. This may include patients with conditions such as fibromyalgia, neuropathic pain, and post-surgical pain syndromes. As a Physician Assistant in Pain Management, you will play a crucial role in improving their quality of life through tailored treatment approaches and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies is required.
• An active Physician Assistant license issued by the state of New York is mandatory.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with specific experience in pain management or related fields is essential.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, demonstrating the ability to convey complex medical information clearly to patients and families.
• Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient or inpatient pain management setting is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with managing insurance documentation and appeals processes is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Physicians Care Enhancement LLC offers a competitive salary range of USD 150,000 to USD 180,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a full benefits package.
