Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) at Great Lake Behavioral Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individualized therapy sessions, where you will offer empathetic support, assist clients in exploring their emotions, and develop tailored coping strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our focus is primarily on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are confronting mental health challenges. This demographic frequently experiences transitional obstacles related to identity, relationships, and career pathways. By engaging in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), clients receive comprehensive treatment that promotes healing and empowers them to achieve lasting change. Your role encompasses both guiding clients through their struggles and instilling a sense of hope and possibility for recovery.

The ideal candidate will possess

• A Master's degree in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n
