Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop tailored therapy strategies that address clients' unique mental health challenges.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations while ensuring confidentiality.

• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals to enhance client care and develop holistic treatment plans.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and training sessions to stay abreast of advancements in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will provide care to a diverse range of clients, including individuals and families facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) within the state of Connecticut.

• Minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is required, with a focus on delivering therapeutic services.
