Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health statuses and diagnose their conditions.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to foster client resilience and coping strategies.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and other relevant notes in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in crisis prevention and intervention as needed, employing strong skills to navigate challenges and ensure client safety.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population that may include individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and other mental health challenges. Your expertise will help clients gain insights into their behaviors and thought patterns, guiding them toward sustainable mental health solutions. Your culturally competent approach will allow you to effectively connect with clients from varied backgrounds, respecting their unique experiences and values.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and active licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of four years of related clinical experience, with a demonstrated ability to conduct therapy both individually and in groups.

• A thorough understanding of mental health diagnoses, evidence-based treatment strategies, and therapeutic interventions.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, enabling you to respond effectively in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering a trusting and supportive relationship with clients.

• Proficiency in digital platforms, including EHR systems, for maintaining client records and managing schedules.

• A strong commitment to confidentiality, ethical practices, and the establishment of professional boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits\n
