Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and functional capabilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing diverse therapeutic methods such as exercise regimens, hands-on therapy, and the use of specialized equipment to manage pain and improve mobility.
• Implement treatment sessions designed to help patients attain their maximum potential, while closely tracking and documenting patient progress and treatment responses.
• Regularly reevaluate therapeutic goals and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on patient development.
• Recommend assistive devices when needed, guiding patients in their effective usage for self-care and mobility.
• Provide education and training for patients, families, and caregivers on therapy-related practices and the use of assistive modalities.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including workshops and professional societies, to maintain and enhance your technical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including children and adults recovering from various conditions. This may encompass patients with sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, pre- and post-operative care, and those with mobility issues. Your empathetic approach and customized therapy plans will be vital in addressing the unique needs of each individual, fostering their journey toward independence and recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in computer and documentation systems is preferred.
• Exceptional adaptability and problem-solving skills are essential in a dynamic rehab environment.

Compensation and Benefits
