Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to identify patients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans that promote recovery and resilience.

• Provide short-term individual counseling and crisis intervention services, helping patients navigate immediate challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops focusing on vital topics such as stress management, coping strategies, and personal development to enhance community support and engagement.

• Collaborate closely with medical professionals, support staff, and external organizations to ensure holistic patient care, integrating psychological support with medical services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve diverse patient groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with a wide range of mental health challenges. You will engage with clients from various backgrounds, each presenting unique experiences and needs. Your expertise will enable you to adapt treatment approaches and apply evidence-based practices tailored to each individual’s journey toward healing.

Qualifications\n

• A valid active state license in one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• Proven ability to understand and address the complexities of mental health issues within hospital settings, with a focus on sensitivity to patients' diverse needs.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient engagement and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and brief therapy approaches that are practical in fast-paced clinical environments.
