Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand each client's mental health needs and developing comprehensive treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Providing individual, couples, and group counseling to diversify therapeutic approaches and engage clients in their healing process.

• Utilizing a range of therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques, adapting these tools to meet the diverse needs of clients.

• Collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to ensure holistic care for clients.

• Maintaining detailed and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, while documenting treatment progress to track client development.

• Participating in ongoing professional development, including clinical supervision and case conferences, to enhance your skills and knowledge base.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse client population, providing mental health care to individuals from various backgrounds and life experiences. Your role is pivotal in helping clients manage and overcome a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mood disorders. Your compassionate approach ensures that clients feel understood and supported throughout their journey towards recovery. Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida.

• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field; preference given to candidates with a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling.
