Work Environment\n

This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home or a quiet environment of your choosing. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance. While you will primarily work independently with clients, you will also collaborate with a team of psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, providing a cohesive, team-based approach to mental health care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms on clients' lives, utilizing standardized tools and techniques.

• Collaborate closely with clients to craft personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize therapeutic interventions grounded in scientific research, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and the mental health care process, including evidence-based treatments and self-care strategies.

• Continuously monitor clients’ progress throughout treatment, adjusting plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in regular consultations with psychiatrists and healthcare team members to facilitate integrated care.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and assessments, adhering to all relevant regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with individuals living with mood disorders, including those facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. We serve clients from varied backgrounds, emphasizing the importance of cultural competence in therapeutic relationships. By addressing both clinical symptoms and personal experiences, you will help clients navigate their mental health journeys towards recovery and fulfillment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Psychologist in Washington state.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based practices for treating mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology to enhance collaborative treatment with psychiatrists.

• Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to connect with diverse client populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $115,000 - $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
