In this remote-based role, you will work primarily within a school setting, interacting with students and families. Our remote model allows for flexibility in scheduling, including opportunities to conduct sessions during evenings and weekends as needed. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and mental health screenings of students to evaluate individual concerns and challenges.

• Develop tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing the unique needs of each student, ensuring that these plans align with educational goals and resources.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing proven evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Collaborate closely with school staff, including teachers and administrators, to create a supportive environment for students, ensuring that their mental health needs are integrated into their education plans.

• Provide ongoing support and education to families regarding mental health issues and strategies for supporting their children outside of therapy.

• Maintain precise and confidential client records in compliance with state regulations, ensuring that all documentation reflects the care provided and the outcomes achieved.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be on students ranging in age from kindergarten through high school, addressing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will be instrumental in recognizing early signs of mental distress and providing timely interventions to improve academic and social outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; a master's or doctoral degree is preferred for advanced positions.

• A proven track record with at least two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling.

• Demonstrable knowledge of evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities relevant to childhood and adolescent mental health.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster positive relationships with students, families, and multidisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working within educational settings or with school-aged populations is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and crisis intervention strategies.

• Training in specialized therapeutic techniques, such as play therapy or cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 60,000 to USD 104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
