Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' emotional, psychological, and social needs, which inform the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Provide personalized individual therapy using various therapeutic modalities—such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapy, and solution-focused therapy—designed to promote personal growth and positive coping mechanisms.

• Establish and maintain therapeutic goals, regularly monitoring client progress with the flexibility to adapt plans as needed for effective outcomes.

• Offer teletherapy options to clients, ensuring accessibility and convenience, especially for those facing challenges with in-person visits.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.

• Engage in continuous professional development through training, workshops, and peer supervision to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily involves providing support to students within the school system, addressing a wide spectrum of mental health concerns including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Your expertise will help equip these young individuals with the tools they need to navigate both academic pressures and life challenges, ultimately enhancing their educational experience and personal lives.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as an LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PsyD is required.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is mandatory.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport and trust with diverse populations.

• Demonstrated capacity for empathy, compassion, and maintaining a non-judgmental therapeutic approach.

Preferred Experience\n

Previous experience in a school setting or working with children and adolescents is highly desirable. Compensation and Benefits\n
