Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, evidence-based assessments to evaluate students’ mental health needs and create individualized treatment plans.

• Provide tailored, one-on-one therapy sessions while employing a diverse range of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, or solution-focused therapy, based on each student’s requirements.

• Set realistic, achievable therapeutic goals with clients and regularly monitor their progress through consistent feedback and effective communication.

• Provide accessible teletherapy sessions to accommodate students facing challenges in attending in-person meetings due to geographical, physical, or emotional barriers.

• Ensure meticulous documentation of therapy sessions and patient progress, adhering to ethical standards and best practices in the field of mental health.

• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest mental health trends, research, and techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with school-age clients dealing with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. The emphasis is on building supportive therapeutic relationships that foster trust and encourage personal exploration, enabling students to develop coping mechanisms and resilience in navigating their challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a current and valid state license in Texas as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with students and their families.
\n
• A compassionate, non-judgmental attitude paired with an ability to instill confidence and hope in clients.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to effectively manage a diverse caseload.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in a school setting or with youth populations is advantageous. Familiarity with therapeutic tools and techniques specific to adolescents, especially in an educational context, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to USD 104,000, commensurate with your experience and caseload.
