Experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal

Job Description The Godinez Law Firm, P.C. is looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to assist and work up litigation cases. A minimum of 5+ years of experience is required, with a preference for person(s) with employment, personal injury and commercial litigation experience, particularly in contingency-type litigation where quick action and dogged pursuit of justice translates to success for the firm's clients and our firm's bottom line. Responsibilities will include assisting the attorney(s) and other support staff in all aspects of litigation, including preparing drafts of petitions, motions, court orders, discovery, discovery responses, and scheduling hearing dates, trial dates, depositions, and other important litigation matters. The position will require client contact during the litigation process, and will be guided or supervised by an attorney; however, strong independence, work ethic, and ability to work without specific, daily supervision is a required.
