Work Environment\n

This position operates remotely, allowing flexibility while maintaining a high level of engagement with clients. The work hours are structured within Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 7 PM, with options for 4x10 or 5x8 shifts, accommodating a balanced work-life integration. You will be part of a dynamic and supportive team dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of students, their families, and the community at large.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide therapeutic services, including psychotherapy and counseling, to individual students, families, and groups using evidence-based practices.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and interviews to gather relevant social, personal, environmental, and health information to create tailored treatment plans.

• Evaluate, plan, and implement interventions that address psychosocial issues affecting clients and their emotional clearly.

• Facilitate connections to community resources and support systems to enhance treatment outcomes and promote client independence.

• Maintain professional boundaries and foster a therapeutic relationship founded on trust, respect, and collaboration.

• Monitor and document treatment progress, adjusting plans as necessary to reflect evolving client needs and goals.

• Provide crisis intervention services and short-term crisis resolution to students encountering immediate emotional or behavioral challenges.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on a diverse population of students within school settings, addressing a variety of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, behavioral disorders, grief, and family dynamics. You will work closely with children and adolescents, understanding their unique challenges and facilitating their growth through effective support and counseling.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Candidates must hold an active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in the state of Virginia.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively while adhering to documentation protocols.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical social work or related fields is preferred, candidates with recent relevant internships or practicums will also be considered. Experience in school-based mental health, behavioral health, and working with adolescents experiencing various challenges is highly valued. Familiarity with integrating digital tools into practice to enhance client outreach and engagement is considered a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 – 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
