Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our outpatient office in the heart of San Francisco. You will work in a collaborative environment characterized by supportive teamwork, clear communication, and a shared commitment to patient-centered care. The regular work schedule for this role is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while ensuring you are available during peak therapy hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate the specific needs and goals of patients, developing tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique challenges.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions and maintain a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring quality, focused care.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques to aid in improving patients' motion, mobility, and overall wellbeing.
• Document all services and interventions provided, adhering to regulatory and organizational standards regarding patient records.
• Minimize reliance on pharmacological interventions by recommending safe and effective non-surgical alternatives.
• Enhance patients' physical capabilities through customized fitness and wellness programs aimed at strengthening, balancing, and coordinating their movements.
• Engage in continuous progress monitoring to evaluate treatment effects, adapting care plans to optimize patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive therapeutic care, fostering an interdisciplinary approach to rehabilitation.
• Motivate and empower patients throughout their recovery journey to cultivate independence and confidence in their abilities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with a diverse patient population primarily comprised of individuals needing rehabilitation from orthopedic conditions. This includes post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. By leveraging our advanced treatment methodologies, you will be instrumental in helping these patients reclaim their functional abilities and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Physical Therapist license in California, with no disciplinary actions or board proceedings against the licensure.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of effective exercise prescriptions.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, including familiarity with WebPT.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster rapport with patients and collaborate with team members effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience specifically within an orthopedic outpatient setting, with a minimum of 2 years preferred.
• Prior involvement in creating individualized patient care plans that result in significant functional improvements.
• Strong background in sports medicine and rehabilitative techniques will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 125,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
