Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately determine clients' mental health needs, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to clients, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, using adaptable communication strategies to engage clients and families effectively.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including case managers, psychiatrists, and social workers, to create coordinated care plans that reflect the holistic needs of clients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support to clients during acute emotional crises, employing established protocols to ensure safety and well-being.

• Participate in ongoing community outreach initiatives aimed at enhancing mental health awareness and reducing stigma associated with mental health conditions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and adjustment issues, particularly in a hospice setting. Your role will involve delivering empathetic and culturally sensitive care tailored to meet the unique needs of clients from various demographic backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A valid, independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) , Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) , Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A completed master’s degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
\n
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships.

• Demonstrated cultural competence, allowing for effective interaction with individuals from varied ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and follow-up on client progress.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a hospice setting or with terminally ill patients is highly desirable.

• A record of community outreach and engagement initiatives in mental health promotion.

• Prior experience utilizing telehealth systems and online therapy platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n
