Our outpatient office is designed to facilitate healing, connection, and community—even when conducted from a distance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the unique needs and goals of each patient seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments and best practice evidence-based interventions.

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions utilizing motivational interviewing techniques and cognitive-behavioral therapies tailored to the needs of each client.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, creating a safe space where patients can share experiences and learn from one another.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses all facets of a patient’s recovery.

• Respond to crisis situations with empathy and professionalism, offering support and intervention during substance-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about addiction, recovery processes, and available community resources to support long-term success.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in team meetings and case consultations, fostering a collaborative approach to patient care and professional growth.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in substance use disorder treatment to enhance your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse population of individuals struggling with substance use disorders, including both adults and adolescents. Our patients come from various backgrounds and experiences, each seeking a personalized approach to their recovery. This role requires a strong understanding of culturally competent care to address the specific challenges faced by different communities.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of substance use disorders, effective treatment modalities, and recovery-oriented care practices.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and group therapy within the context of addiction treatment.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a non-judgmental and empathetic approach to patient interactions.

• A commitment to ethical practice, maintaining professional boundaries, and ensuring patient confidentiality.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
