Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients experiencing mood disorders, evaluating the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms to inform treatment planning.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on evidenced-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families on effective coping strategies and available treatment options, empowering them to participate actively in their recovery.

• Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed while ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care, offering a holistic approach to treatment.

• Participate in case consultations, team-building activities, and professional development workshops to enhance personal and professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be clients dealing with mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Additionally, you will work with vulnerable populations such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. Qualifications\n

• A current and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• A nonjudgmental attitude and a high degree of empathy and sensitivity to diverse client experiences.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in clinical settings focused on mood disorders, as well as familiarity with trauma-informed care practices, will be advantageous. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and electronic health record systems is also beneficial, as our practice incorporates technology into client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
