Work Environment

This position is based onsite as a home care Physical Therapist, allowing you to provide therapy directly where patients feel most comfortable. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify individual patient goals and needs, creating tailored treatment plans that utilize a variety of orthopedic therapeutic techniques.
• Implement effective, evidence-based interventions to improve pain management, movement potential, and overall physical function.
• Develop custom fitness and wellness programs that incorporate patient-specific activities to fortify strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Continuously evaluate treatment progress and adjust care plans as necessary, maintaining clear communication with patients and their families throughout the rehabilitation process.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care and to discuss challenging cases or necessary referrals.
• Lead educational sessions for patients and families about rehabilitation processes and preventive care approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on treating patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. You will encounter diverse cases ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Being sensitive to each patient's unique needs and fostering their autonomy during recovery will be essential elements of your role.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Current and active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years experience specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation, particularly in managing patients with musculoskeletal challenges.
• Proven ability to perform evaluations and formulate evidence-based treatment plans effectively tailored to individual patient needs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster trust and cooperation from patients, their families, and fellow healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in developing fitness and wellness programs that effectively enhance patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
