Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Vitality Counseling, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs, developing tailored treatment plans that address their unique situations.

• Providing evidence-based therapy services utilizing a range of therapeutic methodologies including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches.

• Working collaboratively with a team of case managers, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care tailored to each client.

• Delivering crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute distress, employing effective de-escalation techniques as necessary.

• Engaging in community outreach and educational initiatives to raise awareness about mental health issues, contributing to reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adults experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship issues. Our client base is diverse in terms of cultural, social, and economic backgrounds, requiring you to exhibit cultural competence and sensitivity to effectively understand and meet their needs.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must:

• Hold a current and valid license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Possess a Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Demonstrate a commitment to practicing cultural humility and sensitivity when working with clients from various backgrounds.

• Have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in crisis intervention, telehealth service delivery, and community-focused mental health initiatives are highly encouraged to apply. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be considered a plus.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000–80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
