Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive virtual psychosocial assessments to evaluate students’ strengths, needs, and areas for growth, ensuring a thorough understanding of their individual circumstances.

• Design and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individuals, families, and groups, with a focus on addressing specific mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Collaborate with educators, school counselors, and other healthcare providers to create a supportive network for students, ensuring that mental health care aligns seamlessly with their academic and social needs.

• Advocate vigorously for students’ rights, assisting them in gaining access to essential community resources and support services that enhance their well-being.

• Document all client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes meticulously in electronic health records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards of practice.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance your clinical skills and stay informed of best practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse student population, ranging from elementary through high school. Many of these students grapple with a variety of mental health challenges that significantly impact their academic performance and social interactions. A strong commitment to cultural competence is essential as you will encounter individuals from varied backgrounds and experiences, requiring empathy and understanding to build rapport and trust.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• At least two (2) years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services, preferably with youth populations.

• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing effective treatment plans.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective engagement with students, families, and other stakeholders.

• A strong commitment to cultural competence and ethical practices in mental health.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working within a school setting or with adolescents is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• We offer a competitive salary between $115,000 and $130,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and caseload.
