Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and develop tailored treatment plans that resonate with their unique experiences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in individual and group therapy settings.

• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions, allowing patients to process their trauma and build effective coping strategies that promote healing and resilience.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and members of the multidisciplinary team to offer integrated care, ensuring all aspects of a patient's well-being are addressed.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, swiftly responding to the immediate needs of patients.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and strategies to manage symptoms and improve overall well-being.

• Maintain meticulous documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring the confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.

• Engage in case consultations and participate in professional development activities focused on enhancing knowledge and skills in trauma-informed care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to elevate service delivery and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will work with a diverse array of clients ranging from adults to adolescents who have been affected by various forms of trauma. Our patients often deal with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, and it is vital to provide them with a safe space where they can explore their experiences and find healing. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding them through their recovery journey and fostering their resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-focused approaches.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and adeptness with relevant computer applications.

• A collaborative spirit, capable of working within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a therapeutic setting is preferred.

• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
