The Remote position allows licensed professionals the opportunity to provide services in a community health clinic model from a location of their choosing. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma history, ensuring the identification of effective treatment approaches that cater to individual needs.

• Develop and implement comprehensive, personalized treatment plans geared towards trauma recovery and resilience-building.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing and coping with trauma experiences.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure an integrative approach to patient care.

• Provide effective crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating skills in de-escalation and compassionate communication.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, available resources, and effective coping mechanisms, contributing to holistic care.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for streamlined operations.

• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.
