Work Environment\n

This position allows for a flexible work environment with a remote setup that supports work-life balance. Our outpatient office operates from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, providing you with scheduling flexibility tailored to your needs. You will have the opportunity to work with a motivated patient population while receiving full administrative support for scheduling and client services, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' trauma history.

• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience building.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma and develop effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, multidisciplinary care for patients.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses and available community resources.
\n
• Maintaining meticulous and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in case consultations and team meetings to contribute to ongoing professional development and enhance trauma-informed care practices.

• Staying current with relevant research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually improve therapeutic interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily engage with diverse adult clients struggling with the effects of trauma. This can include individuals reflecting on past traumatic experiences and those facing challenges related to PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Your work will enable clients to develop resilience, better coping mechanisms, and an improved quality of life.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensing as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
