Working hours are flexible, with availability required between 7 AM and 10 PM, making it convenient to balance personal and professional commitments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and recommend effective treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans emphasizing trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and engage in their healing journeys.
\n
• Utilize specialized modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate therapy.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for patients.
\n
• Respond to trauma-related crises, offering immediate support and interventions as necessary.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, enhancing their understanding of available resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations, contributing to a culture of ongoing professional development and trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to provide the highest level of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be serving a diverse client population primarily composed of individuals recovering from trauma. The patients come from various backgrounds and demographics, many of whom have experienced significant challenges that require sensitive and responsive therapeutic approaches. Your role will directly contribute to improving their mental health outcomes and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and a proven ability to apply trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling.

• Previous experience with trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly desired.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with various computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $110,000 annually. In addition to base pay, you will benefit from a sign-on bonus, guaranteed pay increases, and bonus opportunities. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
