Oasis Mental Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our team and provide a blend of telehealth and in-person therapy sessions. This full-time role will focus on delivering high-quality mental health care to individuals navigating trauma and related conditions in the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois. We are proud to offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus for new hires.

As a remote position, this role offers significant flexibility, allowing you to manage your schedule effectively while working within our outpatient office framework. Our practice operates from 7 am to 10 pm seven days a week, providing ample opportunities to meet with diverse clients. You will also be supported by a dedicated scheduling and client service team, ensuring that you can focus on providing the best care possible without administrative burdens.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and inform treatment plans.

• Develop and implement customized treatment strategies focused on trauma recovery and resilience-building, adjusting approaches based on ongoing assessments.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, engaging patients to process trauma and develop effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care, ensuring comprehensive treatment approaches.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, available resources, and coping mechanisms.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation per legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to enhance our collective trauma-informed care approach.

• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including individuals, couples, and families dealing with trauma-related issues. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with a variety of clients and will possess the skills to adapt treatment modalities to meet their unique needs and experiences. We are particularly interested in behavioral health generalists who are open to seeing couples and families, with training provided for those who need it.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCPC in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Strong familiarity with trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a non-judgmental and empathetic approach.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications.

• Ability to remain calm and composed in crisis situations and high-pressure environments.

Preferred Experience\n

• A self-driven attitude and the ability to complete clinical documentation promptly, ideally within 24 hours of each session.
