Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCPC, your responsibilities will encompass a variety of clinical duties, including but not limited to:

• Conducting trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify patients’ trauma histories and tailor treatment plans accordingly.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment strategies aimed at trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Providing both individual and group therapy sessions to facilitate healing, trauma processing, and the acquisition of effective coping mechanisms.
\n
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.

• Delivering crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
\n
• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses and available coping resources while promoting self-advocacy and empowerment.

• Maintaining thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities centered around trauma-informed care.

• Staying informed of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

Insight Therapy offers a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of USD 90,000–110,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus. Additional benefits include:
